If the recent weather has you longing for fall... You don't have too far to go to see gorgeous fall colors.
John Poimiroo is the editor of CaliforniaFallColor.com and he says you don't have to head to Vermont to see the gorgeous red, orange, and yellow leaves of autumn. He claims California has the best Autumn colors in North America.
His website features photos of fall colors from all over the state with information on the foliage. John says this is the time to see "peak" fall colors - meaning 75% or more of the foliage is turning color. In a few weeks, the London Plane Trees famous in the neighborhood of the 40s streets will peak and drop their leaves.
If you're in the mood for a road trip, head to Hope Valley up highway 88 this weekend.
